Building a Band Community

We want to create a community of amateur bands. Friends of the house so to say. Because they are like us and we are like them: we love to create music, we love to be creative and we love to share with each other what we do . We speak a common language and share the same passion.

On this spot we promote all the bands that pass by our virtual podcast studio and link to their music and social media sites for you to find out more if you liked the taste you got from their interview with Anders and Niels.

If you would like to have a podcast chat about your band, you can either write a message in our Facebook group 'Blue On Blue - Music and Podcast' or contact us here: blueonblue2007@gmail.com

In his solo project Sorrot composer, multi-instrumentalist, lyricist and producer Samuli Turunen creates beautiful music that blends elements from ambient, classical music, electronica, minimalism, post-rock, shoegaze etc. Unexpected and atmospheric. Sorrot's music is very personal and diverce since Turunen always creates music to showcase where he is at any given time. Also the nordic nature has inspiration the work of this Finnish artist.

EOAN (Næstved, Denmark)

Interview 21 June 2022

Aamer Khan (Frederiksberg, Denmark)

Interview 11 May 2022

Aamer Khan is a songwriting singer and guitarplayer from Denmark. His music can best be described as punch rock with a focus on guitars, energetic drumming and melodic vocals. While other bands may think that guitar solos are dead they are often a melodic and vital part of Aamer’s music. The lyrics are often personal stories from Aamer’s own past. Topics such as depression and dealing with life’s gloomier sides in general mix with keeping a positive attitude and using logic and an analytic mind to get better. However, on the EP People Around Us published in 2020 Aamer chose to let the lyrics try capture the fate and life of former family members and friends. In his self-titled trio Aamer Khan is joined by bassplayer Brian Hansen, also known from Saturnus, and drummer Thomas Klintøe. Think melodic power trio and you get the idea of what to expect live

and in the studio. The band has started rehearsing new songs.

Mørkt Stof (Copenhagen, Denmark)

Interview 2 March 2022

The quintet Mørkt Stof plays slowcore rock in Danish. Guitars and synths mix shoegaze and spaghetti western-inspired soundscapes with rock, dynamic prog-drums, and sparse bass that serve as Mørkt Stof's melodic backbone. The poetry is centered on interpretations of the perception of the world. The songwriting ambition is to create a language where the combination of words, melody, and arrangement can create noticeable interpretations of the phenomena that otherwise feel elusive.
